Description

Social media as a marketing and networking tool (intermediate-advanced) (4 hours)

Social media has become synonymous with business marketing; it is easy and accessible, and it is possible to make an impact without spending a fortune. In this session Josh Withers will examine what social media marketing is, why it works for celebrants, and how it can help build a celebrant’s business in a cost-effective manner. We’ll develop a mini social media marketing plan that can be expanded in the celebrant’s own time and create a plan of action that celebrants can start working on the moment they finish the session.

Social media is also an excellent networking tool, granting celebrants the opportunity to connect with other celebrants, wedding industry vendors, and small business practitioners locally, in Australia and around the world. We’ll look at ways the celebrant can benefit their business through networking on social media.

Note: This is not a course on how to set up a Facebook page or Instagram profile; participants must already have social media profiles and some basic experience using them.
