Ceremony inclusions: readings, music and rituals (2 hours)
Celebrants build up a bank of resources on music, readings and rituals throughout their careers, but there are always new options to discover. This activity will focus on suggesting and discussing ceremony inclusion options for a number of different couple and family scenarios.
The second part of the activity will look at the performance and logistics of various wedding ceremony rituals; while celebrants may have a bank of rituals and wording to refer to, they may not have much experience in actually performing the rituals, and they can be logistically tricky to manage, especially when props are involved (such as in sand ceremonies or hand-fastings).
