Involving others in wedding ceremonies can be both a creative challenge for celebrants and a legal one. While there are many ways of involving children, guests and pets that do not create any legal hurdles for celebrant, having someone other than the celebrant centrally involved in presenting the ceremony does require a minimum legal involvement from the authorised celebrant. This activity will look at the legal requirements where someone other than the authorised celebrant will be centrally involved in presenting the ceremony, and at creative options for including children, guests and pets in the ceremony.
