The celebrant’s role in three uncommon situations

The celebrant’s role in three uncommon situations (2 hours)

Occasionally marriage celebrants come across situations that are not familiar to them because they’re simply not very common:

  • A couple may ask for their assistance and advice about a shortening of time application
  • A couple may ask for their support in applying for a Prospective Marriage Visa
  • They may need to transfer a marriage to another celebrant or receive a transferred marriage from another celebrant.

This topic will provide participants with some contextual information and step-by-step instructions on what to do in each of these situations, and provide an opportunity for celebrants to share their own experiences in these areas.
